A Message From 1Man

I conceived the techniques of 1Man Filmmaking many years ago. I had a multitude of ideas I wanted to film. I was constantly thinking of stories, camera angles, action sequences, lighting effects, and music videos. I would think, "Wouldn't it be cool to see this? Or that?" I felt an overwhelming need to put my vision on the screen.

But I had very limited resources at my disposal. Often there was no 1 around except myself and my camera. So out of necessity, I had to improvise. I experimented with the few materials available to me, and I learned how to use these simple things to achieve what I wanted. By trial and error, I developed 1Man techniques in filming, cinematography, editing, etc.

I'm honored to have been nominated for the Golden Reel Award. I hope to inspire others who want to make their film but who are unsure how to even begin. 1Man Filmmaking shows the remarkable and ingenious results you can achieve, simply by combining the camera with your imagination.
