Starring peter Fonda and Lou gossip jr.

This is an early
stages production artwork comp. which was produce as a marketing idea poster, etc.
The movie ended up with TONY CURTIS
in the starring role instead of PETER FONDA,
so this art was never use for the poster.
The
original artwork is done on 18x24 illustration board but is now matted in a 22x28 black frame.
It is in full color painted in acrylic and
color,
in Struzan style. His famous logo style signature
"S" is in the lower right hand side under the
jeep.
I have included an image of the artwork
(unframed image) so you can see.
RAMBO FIRST BLOOD

Pre-cast Kirk Douglas Original Artwork by

This is one of the many portrait artwork
Drew did to promote upcoming movies and at that early stages in pre-production. Kirk Douglas was up for the role of Rambo's mentor as Vietnam Colonel Trautman,
but due to a scheduling conflict he ultimately couldn't commit himself to the movie.

LAS VEGAS PLAZA MALL
1979
The Las Vegas Fashion Plaza, was
a new shopping mall right on the Vegas Strip. Openning day March 15, 1979.
This black and white drawing was done for final approval, before Drew was to do the full color painting for the Las Vegas Plaza poster.
